Casper is fat and happy on the new pasture, and he is king of his small herd.

CASPER
14.2 hh • 1,000 lbs
Few spot appaloosa gelding. Born Sept 1996, I got him at 4 months. A stallion for 8 years, but never bred, he still has some of the traits of a stud. He definitely rules the pasture. Usually, Casper is just laid back and L-A-Z-Y!

Not the cutest baby, you have to wonder if Casper was a horse or donkey! Casper is gentle enough for my two young nephews to be led around on. Casper getting a rare moment of exercise. I have proof he can move faster than a walk. Casper and the rest of the herd initiating the newcomer, Weaver.
Casper is herd boss no matter how much bigger another horse here is. Of course, he's usually still fatter. Mostly ridden in the pasture, Casper has proved to be a worthy trail horse, and he is shaping up to be an excellent mounted shooting horse. I have discovered,
however, that he HATES mules, which is funny since I always call him my "jackass." I not only raised Casper, but I also trained him.
