Excellence from Birth: The Professional Evolution of the USAF Medical Service Corps

This soft cover publication is the product of several years of research by Dr. Jimmy D. Sanders, and is the accumulation of more than 50 years of the USAF Medical Service Corps' history. I was contracted by Dr. Sanders to take the raw, copied text and incorporate all of it into a usable format. The process of scanning in the pages copied from Air Force medical journals was very tedious as much of the type was illegible. After scanning, importing and correcting the text, I created a Quark document and flowed the pages into the book. I worked on this project for over two years with Dr. Sanders, creating the design and formatted each page from the table of contents to the index. Today, this publication is being used as a textbook for the USAF MSC.
