Sorrel Quarter Horse gelding. Trained on poles and barrels. Had been abused and can be spooky. Good all-around horse who has a lot to live up to ... had my other Rusty 21.5 years!
Rusty has been exposed to Cowboy Mounted Shooting!

Rusty was definitely in his element at Cowboy Mounted Shooting ... I was so impressed with his work ethic! Rusty settling in ... his personality is showing day by day. Built like a tank, he is a fun ride though a little spooky. I wasn't looking for a solid sorrel, but he stole my heart!
Rusty has turned out to be an excellent all-around horse. While somewhat spooky when trail riding solo, he knows an arena means business! I expected him to freak at Cowboy Mounted Shooting, but he barely flicked an ear. When I found him at the sale, as usual, I hadn't gone to buy a thing ... but if I was going buy, I was looking for a gaited trail horse or at least something flashy like a palomino or buckskin. Instead I came home with a sorrel quarter horse ... and I haven't regretted it a bit!
