Contrary to Captain, Weaver quickly fit into the herd.

DREAMWEAVER
15.1 hh • 1,000 lbs
Sorrel blanket appaloosa mare. Ironically, also Dreamweaver, but different nickname, Weaver was given to us by her breeder when the owner was going to put her down because she couldn't afford her. Weaver rides well but is headshy.

Just before arriving, Weaver somehow almost cut her left nostril off. Stitches and $300 later, you can hardly tell. Though never registered, Weaver comes from a long line of foundation apps used for endurance. As is common with apps, Weaver's coloring can vary greatly in different seasons or ages. A very calm mare and good riding horse, Weaver occasionally shows her spirited side.
Weaver's owner could no longer afford her, and she was to be put down. Her breeder took her back to find her a home, so we agreed to take this "Free" horse, which was possibly not even broke. Well, $300+ later after she almost detachd her nostril and it had to be stitched back, she was delivered to us. Weaver has turned out to be a wonderful horse.

I had to downsize my herd, and I'm excited that Weaver can now join her former pasturemate, Dream, at the same lessee's. I think the mares and lessee will be really happy together. In today's horse market, it really lightens my load to know these special mares are being taken care of as they are. Thanks, Kelly!
