Meeting Brochures

I have created brochures and meeting forms for national organizations. The brochures include information on locations, registration forms, etc. I have also designed programs for events and dinners. These examples include meeting agendas, hotel information, reservation forms, and the like. Others are just samples of designs.

Newspaper Editions

For a number of years, I have worked off and on for the County Gazette. This monthly newspaper publication is family-owned and FREE to the public. It is supported entirely by advertisements. This unique paper offers a lot of local and personal news. I often wrote copy and designed ads, as well (some of which can be seen in the Graphics section.)

	Hard Cover Books I was managing editor of hard cover, 9x12 coffee table books produced by a national publishing company. The examples are 9x12, but the first books printed were 10x13. In three years, I managed 14 books from hiring writers and photographers to writing copy and heavily editing text. I selected book images, wrote dust jacket copy and had design input. Each project lasted from 18 months to 2 years. On occasionally I traveled to personally hire writers and photographers, or to meet with chambers of commerce. Soft Cover Publications Before managing coffee table books, I worked for a year as the editor for directories and guides that were mostly produced for chambers of commerce. This was detail-oriented editing due to the contents included in each publication from area attractions and relocation information to business listings and classification indexes.
