SHI is the only nonprofit organization dedicated to horse theft education and awareness, as well as aiding in the recover of stolen and missing horses along with stolen tack and trailers. Begun in 1998 after the Metcalfe's horses, Idaho, was stolen in Sept. 1997 and recovered 51 weeks later, Debi Metcalfe quit her full time job to help others. Since its inception, Debi has grown the organization to several thousand members. She speaks at small and large horse events across the country, has published a book, written numerous articles for horse magazines and has been a guest on several radio shows including Rick Lamb's. Because the daily tasks at SHI are overwhelming for one person and only a few part time volunteers, I have worked side by side this past year with Debi in order to free her to concentrate on growing SHI.

My SWR Professional Services Availablefor SHI includes: website updates and maintenance; design of promotional materials; processing of reports; contacting victims and law enforcement personnel; creating webpages; flyers and special products to aid in the recovery process; writing press releases; attending equine events to man the SHI booth; development of fundraising projects; and the list goes on! It's something I truly enjoy and is worth every minute of my time. Being a victim of horse theft, I've "Been There -- Done That!"

Little Boots Rodeo Program For the last three years, I have created the program for the Montgomery County Cattlemen and Women's annual children's rodeo. I am also responsible for any other media created such as posters or advertisements. I design the cover as well as almost every ad placed in the program.
